HOPE + POSSIBILITY

My own marathon of filming began this morning (and won't end until late July). First up was the Achilles Track Club's Hope & Possibility run in Central Park. The name of the event comes from the book by Trisha Meili, the Central Park Jogger, who survived a brutal attack while running in Central Park in 1989.

While recovering, she learned about Achilles and started running with the club and eventually became its Chairman of the Board. Today's event featured Trisha along with hundreds of disabled athletes, each with their own incredible stories of courage and determination. Pics from the event are available on Flickr.
