MANN. NIKE. MAN!
Two things I'm a huge fan of are director Michael Mann's films -- Heat, The Insider, Collateral to name a few -- and Nike ads. So I almost fell out of my chair this morning when I saw this: a Nike commercial directed by none other than Mann himself.
The commercial, which features running back LaDainian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers, is part of a new campaign developed by ad agency Wieden+Kennedy for Nike's Zoom footwear line.
In addition to the commercial, there is a series of print ads featuring French Open champ Rafael Nadal, track star Lauren Fleshman, and Phoenix Suns guard Steve Nash (my favorite one of the bunch).
