NIKE+ HUMAN RACE

Took part in the Nike+ Human Race in New York on Sunday. My first race since the Chicago Marathon in 2005. I forgot how much I dislike running (more than three miles). But it was nice to be back in that race atmosphere (I do miss that), and plus it was for a good cause.

A boat full of runners. The ferry to Randall's Island for the race.

Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island.

Ran for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Ummm, ok...it's the "Naked Cowboy" everyone.

A whole lotta red.

A unique finisher's medal (a bracelet).

Even though the race was only a 10K (6.2 miles), I didn't train for it at all. In fact, I haven't run in months. So you know what that means. There's going to be some hurtin' this week.
