Was at the newsstand today and picked up the following:
1. Women's Running
Don't normally read women's magazines (I swear), but was interested in checking out this new running publication for women. I think spending two years on a documentary featuring three female triathletes -- not to mention meeting and interviewing pro runners
Kathrine Switzer,
Paula Radcliffe and
Magdalena Lewy-Boulet -- has given me a greater appreciation for the female athlete.
The articles in
Women's Running seem to really gear towards the everyday athlete, which is great. There's even a section profiling everyday female runners in their 20's, 30's and 40's.
2. Outside
Haven't read
Outside in years. Probably not since Armstrong was on the cover during his sixth or seventh Tour de France.
3. Runner's World
Hands down my favorite cover of the three (sorry Lance). Track and field star
Lolo Jones. Wow. Enough said.
